This year, the Guizhou Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) has been accelerating the construction of a modern industrial system supported by the real economy, effectively promoting high-quality economic development.
Focusing on industrial development, reform and innovation, and improving people's livelihoods, GETDZ will work toward achieving its annual target.
The zone will bring in and cultivate strong enterprises in the fields of advanced equipment manufacturing, electronic information manufacturing, and new energy vehicles.
Efforts will also be made to improve the construction of supporting infrastructure and accelerate the filling of infrastructure shortfalls such as water, electricity, roads, gas, and information.
For talent guarantee, the zone will carry out a series of activities to attract more university and college students to work and live in GETDZ.
Support will also be provided to enterprises to explore international markets, injecting new vitality into foreign trade. Utilizing key exhibitions such as the Canton Fair and the China International Import Expo, special promotional activities for foreign investment will be carried out to improve the utilization of foreign capital.
In addition, GETDZ will complete construction on two 15-minute life circles, three farmer's markets, 10 parking lots with 1,280 parking spaces and renovations on two shantytowns, four old communities, and nine backstreets and alleys throughout the year.
Meanwhile, GETDZ will actively guide the upgrading of the consumption structure and carry out a series of promotional activities to enhance the vitality of consumption.
