A simulated job-hunting contest was jointly launched by Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) and Guizhou Aviation Vocational and Technical College on June 6.
The contest aims to further improve students' job-seeking skills and core competitiveness when it comes to finding employment, and provide talent reserves for enterprises in GETDZ.
Registration for the contest closes on June 16.
The contest is divided into seven stages: launch, resume preparations, preliminary competition, semi-finals, pre-final training, finals, and awards and signing ceremony. Among them, resume-making training will be carried out throughout June.
During the contest, the organizing committee will invite experts to enter the Guizhou Aviation Vocational and Technical College to provide resume preparation training for students who are willing to sign up for the contest.
Also, the industrial institutions, business environment and employment and entrepreneurship policies of GETDZ will be publicized to attract more graduates to settle in the zone.
In order to ensure that the selection process is open, fair and just, the organizing committee will invite human resource specialists, career planners, successful entrepreneurs, and employment advisors to form a review committee.
The committee reports to the organizing committee and independently carries out its appraisals.
