Advanced equipment manufacturing enterprises in the Xiaohe-Mengguan Industrial Park in the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) have attached great importance to their research and development capabilities, including scientific research teams, intellectual property rights, and R& D platforms.
This has led them to develop a series of products with core competitiveness.

One of the enterprises, Guizhou CASIC Kaishan Petroleum Instrument Co, has developed a series of intelligent blending systems that meet the demands of oil fields.
In just three years, these products have become indispensable, with a national market share of over 80 percent.
The systems allow oil field customers to remotely control the water injection volume for each layer through servers or mobile terminals, thereby increasing oil well production and efficiency.
Another enterprise, China Zhongmei Panjiang Heavy Industry Co, focuses on the development of complex coal seam hydraulic supports, and its featured products are domestic leaders, providing intelligent mining support for coal mines across the country.

After more than a decade of development, the company has become the largest coal mine complete equipment research and production base in Southwest China.
GETDZ is currently home to 46 advanced equipment manufacturing-related industrial enterprises above a designated size – those with annual output value of 20 million yuan ($2.74 million) or more.
Moving forward, GETDZ will focus on park construction and strive to become a leading area for new industrialization development and a pioneer of open economic development. It aims to achieve a total industrial output value of over 100 billion yuan by 2025.
