In recent years, Guizhou Aerospace Electronic Technology Co in the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been benefiting from the deep integration of industrialization and informatization to promote its intelligent transformation.
The company's intelligent production line has not only helped it improve production accuracy to 30 micrometers, and increase the qualification rate to over 99 percent, but has also reduced labor costs – as only two workers are now needed per production line.
In terms of transporting materials, AGV intelligent robots have replaced manual labor and played a key role in moving over 2,700 kinds of materials and transporting the finished products to the warehouse.
By accelerating its digital transformation, the company has shortened the time it takes to develop new products. In the past, it took 3-5 years to develop one product. Now, the company can develop at least 20 products within the space of a year.
As of now, the company has won more than 50 national, provincial and ministerial awards and can boast of 213 valid patents.
What's more, it recently received a certification for the integration of informatization and industrialization awarded by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Evaluation Committee for the Integration of Informatization and Industrialization, which has galvanized the company to keep pursuing its intelligent transformation.
The information equipment lifecycle management system, which took the company over 360 days to develop, ushered in a new level of innovation for company management by shifting some of this online to cover nearly 1,000 pieces of equipment.
That change can provide technical support for the company's information and equipment management, and improve management efficiency by over 50 percent.
Looking ahead, the company will further its digital and intelligent transformation by enhancing its technological innovation and market competitiveness.
