Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, will be holding a series of activities for Talent Day to attract talent until the end of May.
To help talent from various industries more easily start businesses and settle down in GETDZ, the zone will launch 10 activities related to the employment and entrepreneurship of graduates, upgrading of supporting policies and improvement of talent services.
GETDZ plans to invite college and university graduates to visit local leading enterprises, while professors will be invited to give lectures on career planning. Additionally, the zone will cooperate with vocational colleges to organize job-hunting simulation contests and employment training camps to improve students' skills.
GETDZ will set up a working group to learn about the difficulties facing enterprises in the zone through visits and symposiums, aiming to promote reform, innovation and development among enterprises and strengthen the dynamic between industrial chains enterprises.
Also, the second group of expert studio selections will be launched to boost the zone's independent innovation ability and develop and expand a number of backbone enterprises with a strong competitive edge.
Efforts will also be made to launch related forums, promotional events and policy publicizing conferences for talent and enterprises to exchange with each other, allowing them to benefit from related policies.
