Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has taken targeted measures to conduct investment promotion and contribute new growth drivers to the city's high-quality development.
In 2022, GETDZ completed an actual investment of around 16.97 billion yuan ($2.47 billion) in new industrial projects and introduced 48 enterprises, 14 headquarters economy projects and 30 digital economy projects.
While taking innovative steps to expand channels for the introduction of investors, GETDZ is also fostering the industrial chains in investment promotion so as to facilitate the development of the enterprises in the development zone.
It is a win-win result for both upstream and downstream companies when the development zone considers the industrial chains in investment promotion, said Zhu Hongchen, deputy general manager of Guiyang Hisense Electronics Co.
In 2022, relying on Guiyang Hisense, GETDZ introduced two supporting enterprises to further extend the industrial chains, one of which was Guiyang Zhuoyingshe Photoelectric Technology Co.
"Relying on the output of Guiyang Hisense, my company achieved an output value of more than 20 million yuan in the second half of last year, and the expected output value this year could reach as high as 80 million yuan," said Li Haichao, general manager of Guiyang Zhuoyingse Optoelectronic Technology Co.
Meanwhile, GETDZ also tried to optimize its services to attract more investors.
On Dec 29, 2022, Armer International Group, one of the world's top 500 enterprises, which has gone from specializing in industrial economy to mainly focusing on the whole industrial chain of new electronic information and new materials, held the launching ceremony for the Guiyang Armer Precision Conductor Industrial Town (Phase I) in GETDZ.
It took less than a year from construction of the project to put it into operation thanks to GETDZ's facilitated services.
