At the beginning of this year, the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) sped up road construction and started construction on Jinge East Road, Jinxi Avenue and other roads, improving the road network system and traffic efficiency so that people can travel more comfortably.
The Jinge East Road project starts from Wujiang Road in GETDZ and ends at the reserved diamond-shaped interchange on Guihui Avenue, with a total length of 858 meters and a width of 40 meters.
After opening to traffic in September, it will connect Wujiang Road and Huaguan Road, alleviate road congestion on Wujiang Road and Songhuajiang Road, and relieve traffic congestion caused by the start of the semester at Guiyang Jingkai No 1 High School.
To make parking more convenient for surrounding residents, GETDZ has also launched construction on four smart parking lots, including the parking building of Xiaohe-Mengguan Industrial Park.
It will add a total of 1,942 parking spaces, and the exits and entrances will be automatically recognized and released. Parking spaces can be reserved directly via mobile phone.
Meanwhile, GETDZ has launched an application for new-type urbanization fund projects and will provide provincial and municipal new urbanization funds and subsidy funds for enterprise projects in its jurisdiction, effectively solving financing difficulties.
