The Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has embarked on a path of green development while ensuring high-quality development.
With a focus on innovation-driven green development, GETDZ has formed an industrial system revolving around advanced equipment manufacturing, electronic information manufacturing, and new energy automobiles.

"We have lived here for five or six years, and the environment in the community has become more and more beautiful," said Li Kecheng while exercising at the central square of Lejie community in GETDZ.
To effectively manage greening, property personnel carry out patrols every day in the community to clean up garbage and remind surrounding residents to take care of the environment.
In addition, GETDZ has made efforts to improve river quality, advance solid waste environmental supervision, and reduce air pollution.
