Construction on the intelligent manufacturing basic parts industrial cluster of Guizhou Space Appliance Co is progressing smoothly.
The cluster is located in the Xiaohe-Mengguan Industrial Park in Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ), Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The project, which has a total investment of 4.4 billion yuan ($689.59 million), is separated into two phases, of which the first phase has a construction area of about 240,000 square meters and includes an intelligent R&D center and supporting dormitories.
Construction on the intelligent R&D center is in full swing, while work in other areas is moving forward according to schedule.
The cluster focuses on the advanced equipment manufacturing industry introduced by GETDZ, and is a major provincial-level project jointly created by the government and enterprise.
With a focus on the construction of three platforms - an intelligent manufacturing platform, R&D innovation platform, and industrial collaboration platform - the project will build a series of intelligent manufacturing demonstration lines, demonstration workshops and factories to promote the cluster development of the aerospace basic parts industry.
Since the implementation of the project, GETDZ has actively strengthened service guarantees, providing services for the project in terms of procedures and policy declarations.
In 2021, GETDZ coordinated with the Guizhou Province New Industrialization Development Equity Investment Fund worth 450 million yuan to support the construction of the project.
