The Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, or GETDZ, is understood to be pushing to make breakthroughs in the current year and beyond in the development of its industrial economy.
GETDZ – located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – will focus on the construction of industrial parks, boosting investment, project construction and services improvements.

At the end of January, the first phase of the Guiyang Amer Precision Conductor Industrial City – being funded and built by Fortune Global 500 company Amer International Group – started construction.
This project is an example of the GETDZ's achievements in promoting industrial supply chain investment, by concentrating on such industries as advanced equipment manufacturing, electronics information manufacturing and new energy vehicles.
Currently, the GETDZ is leveraging improvements to its road network as the driving force to speed up the deployment of water, electricity and other energy security facilities. It is envisaged that this in turn will improve production and living facilities and speed up the construction of industrial parks.
To provide financial services to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, the GETDZ has established an enterprise growth capability evaluation system and an intelligent matching system.
The system can evaluate the operating capabilities of companies, their risk control measures and innovation abilities. Through the evaluation results, departments at the GETDZ are said to learn about the operation status of businesses and provide financial support and policy guidance for them.
Moving forwards, plans are for the GETDZ to continue to optimize its business ecosystem in the areas of finance, policies and talent – to help enterprises solve their problems and promote their development.
