Guizhou Aerospace Kaishan Petroleum Instrument Co – located in Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ), Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – got outstanding results in 2021, with its order volume increasing by 50 percent year-on-year.
The company develops and manufactures petroleum instruments for oilfields across the country. It not only has successfully developed the first domestic petroleum instrument, but also has more than 100 kinds of products.
Its comprehensive strength ranks among the top three in the country, and some of its products have the largest market share in the country.
In recent years, the company has aimed at making products with higher technical content and being more technologically advanced. With the improvement of production technology and quality, the added value of products also increased. The company's single oil instrument sales revenue can reach up to 1 million yuan ($157,112.98).
Strong scientific research also supports the company's development. Among the company's 140 employees, there are 50 scientific research talents, accounting for more than one-third. The company's annual scientific research funds account for about 14 percent of its sales revenue.
Currently, the company has more than 200 core patents. In the past four years, it has won the second prize at the Guizhou Science and Technology Progress Awards and the second prize and third prize at the Guizhou Technology Invention Awards.
