GETDZ is accelerating the development of an automobile industry cluster. There are currently 10 enterprises above a designated size – those with an annual revenue of 20 million yuan ($3.1 million) or more – in the automobile and parts industry.
An industrial system has taken shape, led by leading enterprises such as Chery Wanda Bus, Putian Logistics Co and Guizhou Changyue Kechi Automobile Manufacturing Co, and including the production of complete automobiles and auto parts.
As a car company specializing in the research and development, manufacture and sale of passenger cars, the products of Chery Wanda Bus involve road passenger transportation, tourism, public transportation, and group segments. It is the only local enterprise in the province that is qualified to produce new-energy vehicles.
In 2021, Chery Wanda is expected to produce more than 3,000 passenger cars and commercial vehicles, with an expected output value of 1.8 billion yuan.
Guizhou Changyue Kechi Automobile Manufacturing Co has the ability to produce 1,800 special vehicles per year, and Putian Logistics Co has the ability to produce 6,000 refitted vehicles per year.
Moving forward, GETDZ will strive to speed up the development of a leading, independent and controllable new energy and intelligent network automobile industry, and will improve its industrial development policy system, help automobile supporting enterprises carry out scientific research and master core technologies as soon as possible to build an automobile and parts industry cluster.
