A skills innovation forum was held on Oct 18 at the Xiaohe-Mengguan Industrial Park in Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ), Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
Experts from the field of manufacturing, as well as more than 40 people skilled in machining in the GETDZ, came together to share their experience and insights, to help with the development of the manufacturing sector there.
Sun Gang, a master car mechanic from AECC Guizhou Liyang Aviation Power Co, is a winner of the China Skills Award and a national skills master. He shared his technical knowledge and innovative skills with participants and talked about his practical experience gained in the process of technical research.
Bai Qiang, a master technician in the numerical control processing center at AECC Guizhou Liyang Aviation Power Co, gave a talk on the technological innovations carried out there.
Yang Dezhi, deputy director of the modern tool division of Guizhou Southwest Tools Group Co and a master technician in equipment manufacturing, shared his innovative approach and gave details about his work.
After their presentations, the three experts answered questions from those attending.
