The Guizhou administration for intellectual property and the Guizhou Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security jointly announced the Guizhou provincial patent award winners list for 2019-2020 and five companies based in Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) scooped up prizes.
It's understood that they are all model companies in the field of scientific and technological innovation in GETDZ.
Guizhou Jonyang Power Heavy Industry Co took home silver for the zone, for its patented hydraulic motor synchronous control system and control method, double-car body all-terrain vehicle.
Elsewhere, a high voltage resistant electrical connector patented by Guizhou Aerospace Electric Co, arthralgia medicine from Sinopharm Tongjitang (Guizhou) Pharmaceutical Co, a special flash welding forming method by AVIC Guizhou Anda Aviation Forging Co and a video signal amplifier developed by Guizhou Aerospace Electronics Technology Co won excellence awards.
GETDZ – to promote the sci-tech advances of companies and accelerate the transformation of scientific research results – has rolled out 10 measures to boost its business environment and technological innovation.
In addition, it has built a platform for technological innovation and moved up plans for national key laboratories, engineering technology centers and technological innovation centers.
The zone has also encouraged enterprises and universities and colleges to carry out joint industry-university-research undertakings, to strengthen intellectual and technical support for corporate sci-tech innovation.
