The Guiyang hydrogen energy industry technology innovation center was unveiled in the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) on July 9.
GETDZ is located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The center will play an important role in the development of the city's hydrogen energy industry in terms of theoretical research, technological research, achievement transformation, and talent introduction, and will provide strong support for the construction of a hydrogen energy industrial cluster.
After the unveiling of the center, GETDZ will work to develop the center through scientific and technological innovation under the guidance of the Guiyang science and technology bureau.
Focusing on hydrogen production, hydrogen transmission and distribution, comprehensive energy service stations, application demonstration, standard formulation, and industry clustering, the zone will work to build a technological resource integration platform and a technological transformation platform.
Within three to five years, the center will be built into an open platform that is highly influential and play an active role in key technological research, advanced technology introduction, technological integration innovation, technological achievement transformation, talent introduction and cultivation, and enterprise technical services in the hydrogen energy industry.
In five to 10 years, the center's technological research and development capabilities are expected to become among the most advanced in the province, have a greater impact on the international community, and help the country's hydrogen energy industry enhance its international competitiveness.
