Two companies based in Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone obtained the provincial high-value patent, according to Guizhou province's first high-value patent selection results in 2021.
The two companies are Sinopharm Tongjitang (Guizhou) Pharmaceutical Co and Guizhou Space Appliance Co.
The high-value patent declared by Sinopharm Tongjitang (Guizhou) Pharmaceutical Co is the use of a drug for treating osteoporosis, which is mainly used to treat diseases such as fractures, osteoarthritis, osteonecrosis and menopausal syndrome.
Through its alteration and application, the patent has successfully transformed into products such as Xianling Gubao Capsules, Xianling Gubao Tablets and Xianling Gubao Granules.
From 2016 to 2020, the average annual sales revenue of Xianling Gubao series products with broad market prospects steadily exceeded 500 million yuan ($77.3 million).
Guizhou Space Appliance Co declared the patented technology of an electric connector with a stranded elastic pin.
The patented product is widely used in the fields of aviation, aerospace, shipbuilding and electronics. Its cumulative sales volume in the past three years is about 3 million, and the new sales revenue is about 1.3 billion yuan.
The company has also formed 15 other patents around the core patent. The series of connector products developed based on the core patent technology have successively won various honors such as the title of national key new product, Guizhou famous brand product, the China patent excellence award and the Guizhou patent gold award.
