Four companies based in Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) completed a declaration of subsidies for headhunting and attracting talent for enterprises in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on June 25.

The companies include Guizhou Aerospace Electronic Science and Technology Company, Guizhou Institute of Aerospace Metering and Testing Technology, Guizhou Space Appliance Co, and Chery Wanda Guizhou Bus Co.

Guiyang encourages companies to use headhunting services to recruit urgently needed high-level talent. The headhunting service fee is based on the contract signed between the company and the headhunting service provider, and the subsidy amount is 50 percent of the headhunting service fee.

To further help enterprises attract talent, GETDZ has issued policies this year to encourage qualified enterprises to use headhunting services to bring in urgently needed talent from outside Guiyang.

GETDZ will increase subsidy support for headhunting services for large enterprises by offering more municipal subsidies.

According to the contract signed between the company and the headhunting service provider, the company will be given a 100 percent subsidy for the other half of the headhunting costs that the company has to bear after receiving a subsidy of 50 percent at the municipal level. The maximum subsidy amount is 200,000 yuan ($30,951) per post.

These subsidies will go to enterprises that introduce talent that have signed a labor contract or work agreement for more than three years with annual income of more than 300,000 yuan and that work in core technical areas or middle-level or above management positions.
