The Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) will promote urban scientific, refined, and intelligent construction and management with the goal of optimizing the urban living environment and improving the quality of life.
To advance urban facility and service updates, GETDZ will focus on the transformation of urban shantytowns, old communities, and backstreets and alleys.
It will optimize the urban road network and improve urban expressways, main roads, secondary roads, and branch roads. The construction projects of a police station parking lot on Changjiang Road and a parking lot for Daxing Plaza will be launched as well, and the construction of parking lots in other areas and a bus foot connection station will be initiated in a timely manner.
To improve the industrial development layout, GETDZ will accelerate the construction of five major industrial complexes, namely the biomedical industry complex, the health and medical industry park complex, the intelligent manufacturing industrial park, the Hongchuang science and technology industrial park, and the advanced equipment manufacturing industrial park.
It will also strengthen the protection and reshaping of industrial culture and build a science and technology exhibition center led by modern industrial cultural exhibitions, exchanges, and training.
Urban infrastructure such as water supply, drainage, gas, communications, and electricity will be improved, and the construction of sewage treatment facilities, garbage treatment facilities, and public toilets will be strengthened to increase urban comprehensive carrying capacity.
A variety of theme parks will start construction as well.
Meanwhile, GETDZ will comprehensively upgrade and optimize its urban services for education, hospitals, and commerce.
