Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) held a marketing event to publicize its new talent policy on April 16, attracting more than 40 high-level professionals and business leaders from different industries to make suggestions on the high-quality development of its workforce.
At the event, a top GETDZ official gave a presentation on its newly introduced talent policy and explained in detail of its implementation, support methods, policy advantages and development status.
He talked about its apartments designated for top new hires, as well as education for their children and other benefits provided by the GETDZ in order to attract, train and retain the workforce.
Tao An, a representative of high-level talents, said that in addition to attracting and educating the best minds, he suggested increasing the cultivation of locally skilled talent, strengthening communications between resident businesses and promoting the mutual learning and growth of talent.
Meanwhile, the representatives of resident businesses also discussed their needs and the development of talent teams.
In response to the current needs of enterprises, business representatives suggested increased efforts in terms of recruitment, training, employment flows and job exchanges.
The event reportedly aims to increase the awareness about the GETDZ's recruitment policies, as well as lay a solid foundation for serving high-level talents.
