With a total investment of 2 billion yuan ($306.14 million), the project will be developed in two phases.
In the first phase, two integrated energy stations for oil, hydrogen, electricity and gas will be constructed. The design capacity for hydrogen refueling of each energy station will be 500 kilograms or more per day.
Covering an area of about 100 mu (6.67 hectares), the second phase will build a fuel cell technology R&D and manufacturing center. It will also build a hydrogen energy equipment manufacturing base, a hydrogen energy technology R&D innovation center, an energy security center and a hydrogen energy support industrial park.
