Five skill master studio development projects in Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) -- in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- are going places.
These approved studios including four national-level skill master studios and one provincial skills master studio, according to local media reports on Dec 18.
A list of high-skilled personnel development projects in Guiyang shows that the number of approved projects in the zone accounts for one fourth in the city.
As the national open innovation platform for the province, the zone has attracted a number of high-quality manufacturing enterprises.
These operate in the fields of aerospace, electronics information, engineering machinery, energy mining equipment and automobile and parts.

In addition to the five newly added skill master studios, at the start of the year, three high-skilled talent training bases in the zone also became project leaders for national and provincial skill master studios.
The zone currently has two high-skilled talent training bases, which have cultivated 3,283 high-skilled professionals this year, completing 193 percent of the annual set task.
There are currently 15 skill master studios -- including six national skill master studios and nine provincial skill master studios -- in the zone.
