The Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) -- located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- recently began to issue recruitment subsidies and grants to talented individuals and companies.
According to local media reports on Oct 22, the zone began by providing grants worth 259,800 yuan ($38,606) to two resident companies and 33 talented people.
In accordance with its incentive policies to attract new talent, the GETDZ provided 45,000 yuan to two businesses that recruited high-level talents, to encourage more enterprises to recruit talents.
At the same time, 33 top professionals hired by another 16 enterprises received a total of 214,800 yuan in living allowances.
In order to boost its attraction to potential employees, the zone has issued a series of policies for talents to accelerate the formation of a more active, more open and more effective recruitment market.
To that end, the zone will give companies a one-time grant of 5,000 to 100,000 yuan for recruiting highly qualified people and it will provide them with a living allowance.
Moving forwards, the zone plans to continue to focus on the needs of industry and development.
It will issue more attractive, targeted and easy to implement new recruitment policies, so as to attract more talents to come and work in the zone.
