The final of an entrepreneurship and innovation contest was held in the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) -- in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province on July 10 -- according to local officials.
Sponsored by the zone's organization and human resources department, the contest was also the 4th "Zhongguochuangyi" China Entrepreneurship and Innovation Contest's Guizhou division, Guian selection competition's GETDZ final.
Since the competition was launched in May, the GETDZ has actively encouraged enterprises and talents to participate in the competition through online and offline forms.
A total of 52 projects signed up for the competition. After the preliminary selection, 16 projects entered the final.
According to zone officials, teams that entered the final were divided into the entrepreneurial group and the innovation group.
Among the 16 participating projects of these teams, most focused on the "4 + 1" leading industries of the zone.
Officials said there were innovative projects that had a novel coronavirus epidemic prevention and early warning platform. There were also emerging industry projects including such areas as new materials, the digital economy, aerospace, medicine and health.
Zone officials added that, the project of new liquid heat dissipation and the valve product development and industrialization project of spacecraft attitude and orbit control power system will participate in the final of Guiyang municipal-level selection competition on behalf of the zone.
