The Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) announced the second phase of its new digital infrastructure construction investment projects on June 30, according to GETDZ officials.
They involve the industrial internet, the digital city, big data security and other fields, covering 11 key projects.
The 11 new projects published by the zone -- located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- focus on investment in production and supply chains in the fields of the industrial internet, the digital city and big data security.
Zone officials added that the new investment projects include a smart sensor production line, industrial robot research and development and manufacturing.
They also include an industrial internet digitized transformation service, industrial simulation software and a smart terminal production line.
Then there is a 5G communication module R&D and manufacturing project, a computing center, software industry park, internet of things security chip R&D and production line, big data security assessment and certification services and a maker space operation center.
Officials said that of these, four projects belonged to the category of industrial internet industry chain investment projects, three projects belonged to digital city industry production and supply chain investment projects and three projects belonged to the category of large data security industry chain investment projects.
