A promotional conference for the big data and cyber security industry in the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) was held in Beijing on Dec 4 -- aiming to enhance the understanding of various companies related to big data and network security in the GETDZ and find opportunities for further cooperation.
The conference was sponsored by the GETDZ -- a development zone of Guiyang, capital of southwestern Guizhou province -- and the Internet Society of China. The organizers said it successfully attracted the participation of representatives from over 100 institutions and companies.
At the conference, Tang Xinglun, vice-mayor of Guiyang, talked about the development process of information technology in Guiyang. He mentioned that Guiyang is further developing its big data industry, relying on the China International Big Data Industry Expo.
At the conference, representatives of the big data and network security industries in the GETDZ exchanged views and ideas with representatives of the companies present.
