Seven products from companies in Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) have been included in China's 2025 list of patent-intensive products, spanning fields such as traditional Chinese medicine, big data, and intelligent transportation.
Five selected products come from the traditional Chinese medicine sector. Guizhou Hanfang Pharmaceutical Co had three products recognized: Qijiao Shengbai Capsules, Fuke Zaizao Capsules, and Rishuan Lotion. Guizhou Shenqi Pharmaceutical Co had two products selected: Qiangli Pipa Syrup and Pipa Cough Granules. Together, the five products are associated with 33 patents, reflecting the companies' efforts in pharmaceutical innovation and patent development.
The other two products highlight technological advances in digital applications and transportation. Guizhou East Century Co's big data flood forecasting system was selected with 17 associated patents, demonstrating how big data technology can be used in flood forecasting and disaster prevention. Guizhou Qiantong Engineering Technology Co's intelligent decision-making system for highway and bridge maintenance was recognized with five associated patents, highlighting innovation in smart transportation and infrastructure maintenance.
The selection highlights Guiyang HIDZ's progress in translating patented technologies into products across pharmaceuticals, disaster prevention, and transportation infrastructure.
