Five companies in Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ), Southwest China's Guizhou province, have been named on Guizhou's 2026 green manufacturing list, highlighting the progress in promoting greener industrial development.
Guizhou recognized 57 green factories, 18 green supply chain management enterprises, and four green industrial parks this year.
The listees in Guiyang HIDZ span sectors including aviation propulsion, energy-saving controls, and electronic components. Guizhou Hyatech Co and AECC Guizhou Liyang Aviation Power Co were recognized as green factories, while Guizhou Huitong Huacheng Co, Guizhou Yaguang Electronic Technology Co, and Guizhou Touchworks Optoelectronics Co were named green supply chain management enterprises.

Huitong Huacheng, for instance, has operated in Guiyang HIDZ for 23 years and specializes in energy-efficient central air-conditioning systems. Its intelligent control technologies have helped businesses across the supply chain reduce energy consumption, saving about 2.3 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity last year, equivalent to the carbon-absorption capacity of nearly 20 million trees.
As Guizhou's first national-level high-tech zone, Guiyang HIDZ has integrated green development into its industrial upgrading efforts, with plans to expand green manufacturing initiatives and encourage leading companies to drive greener practices throughout their supply chains.
