On June 3, Guizhou Science City Management Co and the School of Smart Transportation at Guizhou Communications Polytechnic University signed a university–enterprise cooperation agreement and jointly unveiled the "Guizhou Embodied Intelligence Technology Innovation Center – Transportation Application Collaborative Innovation Center".
The partnership will advance the construction of a big data talent training base in Guizhou province and develop field engineers specializing in embodied intelligence applications for transportation.
It marks deeper collaboration in talent cultivation, training platform development, and industry innovation, promoting integrated development between education and industry.
Under the agreement, Guizhou Communications Polytechnic University will align talent training with the digital transformation of the transport sector, focusing on cultivating interdisciplinary engineers proficient in both artificial intelligence and transportation operations. The university will also strengthen research and application in "AI + transportation" to support the sector's digital upgrading and contribute to national transportation development goals.
At the launch event, Guizhou Yuanrang Intelligent Technology Co, a partner enterprise in the training base, introduced its implementation plan. Built on data annotation and embodied intelligence technologies, the program will establish structured training courses for data annotators and AI trainers based on real-world transportation scenarios.
The cooperation is expected to bridge industry resources with vocational education, enhance the supply of skilled applied talents for the transportation sector, and inject innovation-driven momentum into the development of Guizhou's high-quality transport.
