Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) has achieved a new milestone in industrial innovation, with six enterprise projects shortlisted for the 2026 second batch of Guizhou Province's Special Fund for Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SMEs) Development.
The selected projects span key sectors, including high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials, aerospace, and AI, highlighting the zone's strong capacity for innovation and growth among SMEs.
In the aerospace and advanced equipment sector, Guizhou Aviation Technical Development Co stood out with two approved projects: research on key manufacturing technologies for new engine ring components using difficult-to-deform GH4xxx alloys, and a digital twin demonstration application based on large AI models for aerospace forging.
CASIC Guizhou Aerospace Linquan Motor Co was also included with its project focusing on high-power-density motor design and intelligent assembly technologies for low-altitude aircraft, aligning with the emerging low-altitude economy.
In the field of additive and intelligent manufacturing, Guizhou Senyuan Additive Manufacturing Technology Co is advancing platform capabilities for polymer 3D printing to support industrial-scale production, while Guizhou Huitong Huacheng Co is developing an AI-driven swarm control system for central air-conditioning energy efficiency based on stochastic neural networks.
Guizhou Innovation Light Metal Process Equipment Engineering Technology Research Center Co's approved project focuses on edge-computing-based intelligent control technologies for aluminum electrolysis, supporting the transformation of traditional aluminum production toward smarter, greener operations.
The zone will continue to strengthen project-based support, enhance its tiered cultivation system for technologically-advanced enterprises, and contribute to high-quality industrial development across Guizhou province.
