Guizhou Science City's Sci-Tech Innovation Park in Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone signed a cooperation agreement with Guizhou Xingmengyuan Technology Co on May 7 to establish an OPC (One-Person Company) community, aiming to create a new ecosystem for AI-enabled solo entrepreneurs.
OPC refers to a new business model emerging in the age of artificial intelligence, where a single individual can run a scalable company with the support of AI tools. From content creation and customer acquisition to sales and services, AI systems can help entrepreneurs independently manage the entire business process.
Unlike traditional incubators that primarily provide office space, the Guizhou Science City OPC community focuses on integrated support that combines technology, business resources, and operational guidance.
Entrepreneurs who join the community will gain access to the Mengyuan AI engine, which offers full-chain intelligent agent services. The platform will also secure business orders in areas such as digital transformation and content marketing, then distribute projects to community members based on their expertise.
The initiative mainly targets university graduates and small business owners, offering training in AI-powered media operations and digital entrepreneurship.
According to He Congyue, a business executive at Guizhou Science City Management Co, the community helps solo entrepreneurs overcome one of their biggest challenges – limited access to clients and business opportunities.
The community's first phase, covering 500 square meters, is currently under renovation. Guizhou Science City plans to attract at least 50 OPC entrepreneurs this year as it explores new pathways for low-cost, AI-enabled entrepreneurship.
