A total of 38 companies from Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) have been selected as part of the first batch of Guizhou province's 2026 list of innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), according to an announcement by the Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.
The recognized companies span a wide range of key sectors, including software and information technology services, electronic information, advanced materials, specialized equipment manufacturing, environmental protection, and new energy.
More than 60 percent are classified as high-tech enterprises, reflecting strong innovation capacity, growth potential, and diversified industry coverage.
The list features a mix of established industry players and emerging startups. In the software and IT services sector, Guizhou Zhongke Hengyun Software Technology Co focuses on data platforms and digital supervision cloud systems, holding six invention patents and over 60 software copyrights.
In manufacturing, Guizhou Liyang Tianxiang Technology Co specializes in the development of chemical protection, smoke generation, and decontamination equipment, with 10 invention patents and 19 utility model patents, supported by a provincial-level enterprise technology center and industrial design center.
In the field of new materials and environmental protection, Guizhou Baibo New Materials Technology Co develops advanced inorganic non-metallic materials such as lead-free low-temperature glass powder and has been recognized as a technologically-advanced enterprise at the provincial level.
A number of recently established companies have also demonstrated strong growth momentum. Guizhou Yuanrang Intelligent Technology Co, founded in 2024, focuses on artificial intelligence and big data services and has shown strong capabilities in technological innovation and market expansion.
