In an impressive display of growth and innovation, the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Southwest China's Guizhou province welcomed 2,147 new talents in the first half of this year.
Since the beginning of the year, Guiyang HIDZ has been focusing on meeting the demand for skilled professionals by dynamically publishing high-quality job opportunities. A total of 5,741 jobs have been collected, creating a robust framework for talent recruitment and attraction across the zone.
Guiyang HIDZ has pioneered a unique "four-tier linkage" strategy to attract talent, combining the efforts of provincial and municipal offices, major human resource institutions, leading enterprises, and prestigious universities.
This innovative approach has led to the establishment of an out-of-province talent recruitment and intelligence station in Chengdu, creating a channel for talent to flow back into the province. As a result, 926 graduates from universities outside the province have been successfully recruited.
Guiyang HIDZ is also committed to providing comprehensive support for its new talent, addressing key concerns such as financial support, essential resources, and housing security. To tackle challenges related to distance, cost, and difficulty in finding housing, the zone has actively developed and repurposed properties to provide government-subsidized rental housing for talents, ensuring that young professionals have access to suitable and secure living arrangements.
