Guizhou PIX Moving Technology Co (PIX Moving) and Italian mobile travel solution provider Tecnocad have recently formalized a cooperation agreement, aiming to collaborate deeply in advancing smart city development, scaling up unmanned driving applications, and expanding into the European market.
According to the agreement, PIX Moving will provide Tecnocad with its independently developed unmanned driving product - the Robobus, along with various types of automated driving spaces.
Tecnocad, in turn, will be responsible for the on-the-ground operation of the unmanned driving products in the city of Turin, Italy.
Together, they will work to provide shuttle services for the citizens of Turin through unmanned driving technology.

It adopts a separate development approach for the unmanned driving chassis and cabin, eliminating traditional components like driver cabins, steering wheels, pedals, and rearview mirrors. The vehicle features a symmetrical design without a distinct front or rear, allowing for bi-directional movement.
Prior to this collaboration, with approval from the Turin government regulatory authorities, PIX Moving obtained a license for testing and operating unmanned driving vehicles on public roads in Italy.
Additionally, the company has been selected to participate in the Turin Smart City project "Torino City Lab", becoming one of the pioneering companies to conduct testing on autonomous driving vehicles in Italy.
