In recent years, Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Southwest China's Guizhou province has been promoting the construction of standardized factories, with a focus on "innovation," "precision," and "service-oriented" development.
In August of last year, the Wangda Standard Factory, located in the zone, was completed and put into use.
The development and investment group of Guiyang HIDZ, in collaboration with two resident enterprises, transformed the factory into an "aero engine incubation area" and "micro special motor incubation area".
In just six months, the entire factory was put to use, attracting a total of 10 related enterprises, and is expected to achieve a cumulative output value of 150 million yuan ($20.55 million) by 2024.
Guiyang HIDZ has made plans for a total construction area of over 3 million square meters (including supporting facilities) for 32 standard factory projects. Among these, 27 have been completed, with a total area of 1.76 million sq m, and 13 have been put into use.
The cumulative completed and utilized area is projected to reach 1.89 million sq m by the end of 2024 and 2.46 million sq m by the end of 2025.
