At the recently-held Guizhou New Industrialization Promotion Conference, the National Special Precision Micro Motor Engineering Technology Research Center was honored with the title of "Advanced Unit in Promoting New Industrialization Development in Guizhou Province for 2021-2023".
The center was jointly established by CASIC Guiyang Aerospace Linquan Motor Co, a resident enterprise of the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ), along with the Harbin Institute of Technology, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Guizhou University.
It is the only national scientific and technological innovation platform in China's special precision micro motor industry.
Chen Qiang, executive deputy director of the center, introduced that since its acceptance by the Ministry of Science and Technology in 2014, the center has been dedicated to addressing major national strategic technological needs. This includes large-scale integrated circuit manufacturing equipment, large aircraft, new energy vehicles, manned spaceflight, lunar exploration projects, and other significant technology special projects.
Chen noted that the center was recognized as an advanced unit in new industrialization because of three key points: enhancing industrial innovation capability, promoting the integration of the virtual and real, and accelerating the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure.
