In 2023, the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Southwest China's Guizhou province attracted 31 incubation carriers and nurtured a total of 2,803 enterprises, making significant progress in business incubation.
During this time, Guizhou province as a whole saw the approval of four exemplary technology enterprise incubators, with three of them situated in the Guiyang HIDZ.
To achieve such goals, the Guiyang HIDZ focused on strengthening several of its sectors, including its electronic information manufacturing, advanced equipment manufacturing, new energy vehicle, and software information technology service industries. It also enhanced its incubation infrastructure and business development format.
By emphasizing the construction of benchmark incubators, the Guiyang HIDZ formulated the "Implementation Plan to Support the High-Quality Development of Entrepreneurship Incubation", which aims to establish 10 benchmark incubators, five of which are already under construction.
Pioneering a new "offsite incubation" model, the Guiyang HIDZ established an innovative offshore incubation base for integrated circuits in Shanghai.
This base focuses on the regional needs of the electronic information industry. It is set to effectively attract domestic and foreign electronic information enterprises and foster integrated circuit design talents.
This base project also facilitates the flow of talent from Shanghai to the zone, thereby introducing high-quality talents and projects.
