An exchange and negotiation meeting between the entrepreneurship service center of Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ), enterprises within its jurisdiction, Guizhou Changtong Group, and Guizhou Institute of Technology was held on Nov 3.
They discussed ways of cooperating on the research projects declared by the enterprises.
During the meeting, Liu Bing, the vice president for innovation of Guizhou Changtong Group, gave a detailed introduction about the company's technological innovation.
He also announced the company's ongoing research and development projects, as well as its main future R&D directions in areas such as new energy, new materials, and advanced power systems.
In response to the company's R&D status, teachers from various faculties at the Guizhou Institute of Technology exchanged ideas and discussed issues related to the integrated application of photovoltaic products, new material R&D, and big data applications.
Both parties also held in-depth and detailed discussions on talent training and delivery, the establishment of practical bases, and the construction of technology transfer platforms.
"Joint cooperation between schools and enterprises can improve the transformation rate of corporate technological achievements and the success rate of future market-oriented sales." said Li Min, deputy director of Guiyang HIDZ's entrepreneurship service center.
"Meanwhile, companies can provide assistance for students in terms of employment and training. It's a win-win situation," Li added.
