Since the beginning of this year, Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) has focused on the three main pillars of industry, technology and talent; actively promoting the "dual-wheel drive" of digital industrialization and industrial digitalization; and achieving impressive results in various tasks.
From January to September, Guiyang HIDZ has raked in revenue of 107.15 billion yuan from its software and information technology service industry, marking a year-on-year increase of 5.2 percent, and accounting for 81.7 percent of its annual target.
The market has continued to grow this year, with an additional six internet and related services, as well as software and information technology service enterprises above the designated size, exceeding 120 percent of the annual target.
It has also achieved remarkable results in attracting investment, bringing in 10 software-related enterprises to fulfill 100 percent of the zone’s annual target.
Meanwhile, the number of big data talents continued to increase, with 1,596 newly introduced this year to ensure 79.8 percent of the annual target was reached.
Additionally, Guiyang HIDZ has extended efforts to promote its "Big Data Enterprise Service Year" campaign. Representatives from the zone visited 103 companies, serving them on 148 occasions in total, and resolving 58 of the 65 issues they presented as problems in need of fixing.
