Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held its 2023 financial services work conference on Oct 20.
The conference aimed to build a communication platform among governments, enterprises and financial institutions, enhance the understanding of regulatory enterprise managers in related fields, enhance awareness of financial security and financial risk prevention, and help enterprises in the jurisdiction achieve high-quality development.
During the conference, a commentator from Guanshan Police Station analyzed the typical routines of illegal fund-raising and internet fraud, and shared relevant cases with the participants.
The event also shone a light on common forms of promoting illegal financial activities, emphasized the need to "protect personal information and beware of online fraud", reminded everyone to pay attention to protecting their personal financial information, helped improve the ability to identify and prevent illegal financial activities, and enhanced awareness of financial security and financial risk prevention.
Subsequently, staff from financial institutions explained such services related to ecological environmental protection, fund applications, investment requirements, precautions, pre-investment and post-investment services, and answered questions raised by participants.
