In its bid to guide enterprises toward advanced quality management practices, the market regulation bureau of the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) recently organized a meeting promoting construction projects.
This marks the sixth consecutive year of the Guiyang HIDZ's quality improvement initiative for businesses.
Four projects stood at the forefront of the zone's enterprise quality improvement campaign this year: namely those of Guizhou Zhenhua E-Chem Inc, Guizhou Valid Pharmaceutical Co, FinDreams Battery Co, and CASIC Guiyang Aerospace Linquan Motor Co.
During the meeting, project heads from the four enterprises each presented reports and outlined the current status of their projects, the problems they faced during implementation, and their plans for the next stages of development.
Quality experts conducted on-the-spot assessments related to the progress of each project, focusing their guidance on aspects such as project goals, equipment management, and process improvements. They also conducted in-depth visits to businesses, offering pulse-diagnosis and on-site assistance for quality enhancement.
As of now, Guiyang HIDZ has carried out quality improvement assistance for 32 enterprises and 33 projects.
The expert assistance has helped diagnose 221 quality management issues, put forward 238 suggestions for improvement, reduced business costs by over 21 million yuan ($2.88 million), and increased economic benefits by over 58 million yuan.
