Steady progress is being made in building the Shawen Advanced Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park inside Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ).
The project, with a total investment of 820 million yuan, is one of the key projects of Guiyang city and Guiyang HIDZ.
Guo Lin, the project manager from Guiyang Gaoke Digital City Technology Development Co, explained that the total construction area of the project is 221,100 square meters.
Since ground was broken on the project last October, 75 percent of the main structure has been completed. Construction is due to wrap up by next September.
"After the infrastructure project of the industrial park has been completed and handed over, related enterprises will be introduced by the investment promotion department to promote industry gathering and better serve the zone's industrial system," Guo said.
"The project is currently in the main construction stage. Under the guidance of the investment department, there is a long list of enterprises that intend to visit the site for field surveys," Guo added.
