The Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) recently conducted an exchange event entitled "Empowering High-Quality Development of Enterprises through Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)."
Over 50 participants, including companies from sectors such as big data and advanced equipment manufacturing, financial institutions, industry associations, and IPR service agencies, participated in the event.
The aim of the event was to further reinforce the essential role of companies in the IPR creation, utilization, and transformation process, thereby effectively implementing the strategies for a strong IPR zone and enterprises.
During the event, 11 enterprises were awarded certificates of honor as "Guiyang HIDZ IPR pilot enterprises for 2023".
The IP public service guidelines of the Guiyang HIDZ station of the Guizhou Intellectual Property Rights Protection Assistance Center were formally launched, showcasing the accomplishments of the IPR public welfare services in the zone.

Subsequently, experts from various industries, financial institutions, and key enterprises shared their experiences on subjects such as high-value patent cultivation methods, IPR-pledged financing, and patent insurance.
Enterprises at the meeting expressed their views on the development status and existing problems related to IPR. Experts were on hand to provide immediate responses to various issues raised.
Statistics show that Guiyang HIDZ has so far cultivated 32 district-level IPR pilot enterprises, seven city-level IPR pilot enterprises, and nine city-level IPR advantaged enterprises.
It also has two city-level IPR demonstration enterprises, 25 provincial-level IPR advantaged enterprises, 14 national IPR advantaged enterprises, and three national IPR demonstration enterprises.
