To promote the matchmaking of scientific research resources with the needs of enterprises, Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Southwest China's Guizhou province will hold six themed lectures from Sept 4 to 8.
These will focus on the fields of food safety, medical health, environmental monitoring, carbon peaking, and carbon neutrality.
They will also serve as a platform for industry-academia-research exchanges and cooperation, providing a showcase for the scientific and technological innovation achievements of research institutions in the zone.
The aim is to promote more scientific and technological achievements in the market and among enterprises, and boost the coordinated development of research institutions and enterprises.
Zhang Ying, deputy director of the management committee of Guiyang HIDZ, pointed out at the launch ceremony on Sept 4 that Guiyang HIDZ held a similar event last year.
This helped local researchers gain a deeper understanding of manufacturing-related technologies, improved their professional skills, and promoted project cooperation and achievement transformation among companies in the manufacturing ecosystem, she said.
The event was widely praised by resident companies and researchers, she noted.
