The World Economic Forum recently selected 100 innovative technology companies from around the world to join its newly established Technology Pioneers Community.
Guizhou PIX Moving Technology Co (PIX Moving), located inside the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Southwest China's Guizhou province, was selected as the only representative from the province.
In the Technology Pioneers Community, companies can collectively explore the future direction of technological development and leverage global support and collaboration to further expand their market share and drive technological progress.
PIX Moving is committed to reshaping the future of cities through autonomous driving technology. It has designed the world's first open-source autonomous driving chassis.
The first mass-produced passenger vehicle product by PIX Moving, Robobus (driverless minibus), is built on this universal chassis. The vehicle does not have traditional components such as a driver's cabin, steering wheel, pedals, or a rearview mirror. It is designed symmetrically without a front or back, enabling bidirectional movement.
Currently, Robobus has been successfully deployed in many cities including Guiyang and Suzhou, while the company has also received orders from countries like Spain, India, and South Korea.
