In the first quarter of this year, the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, achieved great results in business promotion.
From January to March, the newly-introduced industrial projects in Guiyang HIDZ completed a total of 3.54 billion yuan ($509.35 million) in funding, ranking first in the city in absolute value and second in the city in terms of business promotion progress.
The accumulated funds in place for industrial projects in Guiyang HIDZ over the same period totaled 2.53 billion yuan, ranking second in the city.
Additionally, Guiyang HIDZ introduced 13 high-quality enterprises, including Beixinyuan System Integration Co, Chongqing Chuangruan Technology Co, and Hubei Shide Surveying and Mapping Technology Co. This exceeds the zone's assigned first-quarter target, which was assigned by Guiyang.
Since the beginning of this year, officials from Guiyang HIDZ have paid visits to the Yangtze River Delta, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the Chengdu-Chongqing area to seek business opportunities.
Moreover, better services have been provided by Guiyang HIDZ to boost deal signings, project construction and operation.
