An impressive view of the Guiyang HIDZ [Photo/Guiyang news network]
The Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, or Guiyang HIDZ – administered by Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – ranked 37th on the 2022 list of national-level industrial parks, two places higher than in 2021.
The results were recently announced by the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center, which is affiliated to the Ministry of Science and Technology.
A total of 169 high-tech zones at the national level were included in the evaluation.
In the individual rankings, the Guiyang HIDZ ranked 25th place in terms of "comprehensive quality and efficiency, and continuous innovation."
The results indicated that the Guiyang HIDZ enjoys certain competitive advantages in the construction of research and development platforms, the cultivation of innovative leading enterprises, the optimization of industrial structure, and the promotion of corporate listing and financing.
Moving forward, Guiyang HIDZ will continue to promote R&D investment, high-level enterprise cultivation, commercialization of scientific research achievements, and construction of practical education centers.
