The rapid development of the big data industry in the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has recently drawn the attention of the newspaper, Science and Technology Daily.
Statistics from the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology show that the comprehensive ranking of Guiyang HIDZ in the national high-tech zone rose from 62nd in 2012 to 39th in 2021, an increase of 23 places.
Guiyang HIDZ is a national high-tech zone that has developed rapidly within various industry circles in the country.
In the evaluation results of the 2021 national high-tech zones, Guiyang HIDZ ranked among the top 40 in the two individual categories of "structural optimization and industrial value chain" and "comprehensive quality, efficiency and continuous innovation".
Established in 1992, Guiyang HIDZ is the first national-level high-tech zone and talent zone in Guizhou. It is also one of the development clusters of Guizhou's big data industry and one of the "1+8" open innovation platforms.
In the past 30 years, Guiyang HIDZ has focused on the promotion of the deep integration of big data and the real economy.
