The civil aviation engine case produced by the Guizhou Aviation Technical Development Co recently made it onto the list of national manufacturing single champion products.
Guizhou Aviation Technical Development Co is a resident enterprise of the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The list was jointly released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the China Federation of Industrial Economics.
National manufacturing single champions include single champion demonstration enterprises and single champion products. Candidates must be selected and go under review before making it onto the list, which is only released every three years.
The identification standards are strict, requiring enterprises to focus on a certain link in the industrial chain or a certain product for ten years or more, and have a strong market position.

The market share of a single product must rank among the top three in the world.
Over the years, Guizhou Aviation Technical Development Co has successfully independently developed 10 core technologies and took the lead in proposing a new flexible and intelligent forging solution in China.
At present, the enterprise has fully undertaken the research and development of ring forgings for national military and commercial aero-engine projects, and has become one of the main manufacturers of ring forgings in the domestic aviation development field.
Additionally, the enterprise has obtained the supplier qualification certification to be a supplier for mainstream international aviation customers and become a major ring forging supplier in the Asia-Pacific region in the international aero-engine field.
Its customers include General Electric in the United States, Rolls-Royce in the United Kingdom, Pratt & Whitney in the United States, Safran in France, Honeywell in the United States and MTU in Germany.
