A motor industrial chain is gradually taking shape in Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
According to information from Guiyang HIDZ's investment promotion bureau, the industrial chain includes the production of related components such as motors, secondary power supplies, telemetry and remote-control equipment, and servo control systems.
The industrial chain will be led by the Guizhou CASIC Linquan Motor Co, a Chinese central State-owned enterprise based in Guiyang HIDZ.
Four enterprises have already expressed intent to cooperate, with an investment of about 100 million yuan ($14.27 million) in total.
When the industrial chain is complete, it is expected to generate an output value of around 100 million yuan annually.
