Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was selected as a digital service export base in Guizhou province.
Meanwhile, resident enterprise Power China Guiyang Engineering Corporation Limited was selected as a key enterprise in the province's digital service exports.
The news was stated in an announcement made by the Guizhou Provincial Commerce Department on Oct 18.
Guizhou's provincial-level digital service export base is an important measure for Guizhou in accelerating the cultivation and growth of digital service export promotion platforms and market entities, as well as an important measure for the promotion of the high-quality development of the province's digital economy and digital trade.
In the past three years, the export value of digital services in Guiyang HIDZ reached $200 million, accounting for an average of 64.11 percent of the export of digital services in the city.
Moving forward, Guiyang HIDZ will cultivate a group of digital service export enterprises to help them develop their overseas digital service business, optimize the export of engineering design services, and support enterprises to carry out service outsourcing in the fields of digital solution services, and others.
